Before and After

Microneedling

Also known as collagen induction therapy, is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a device with fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin's surface. These tiny punctures stimulate the body's natural healing response, leading to the production of new collagen and elastin fibers.

The needles create small channels or microchannels in the skin, which can enhance the absorption and effectiveness of topical skincare products applied during or after the procedure.

The benefits of microneedling include:
  1. Skin Rejuvenation: Microneedling stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which helps improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity. It can help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation.
  2. Minimized Pore Size: Microneedling can help reduce the appearance of enlarged pores by promoting collagen remodeling and tightening the skin.
  3. Improved Product Absorption: The microchannels created during microneedling enhance the penetration and absorption of skincare products, allowing them to reach deeper layers of the skin and potentially increasing their effectiveness.
  4. Enhanced Skin Radiance: Microneedling can give the skin a more radiant and youthful appearance by stimulating the skin's natural rejuvenation processes.
Microneedling can be performed on various areas of the body, including the face, neck, décolletage, hands, and other areas prone to skin concerns. After a microneedling session, the skin may appear red or mildly swollen, similar to a sunburn. This is temporary and typically subsides within a few days. It is essential to follow the aftercare instructions which may include avoiding sun exposure, using gentle skincare products, and applying sunscreen. Multiple sessions may be recommended to achieve optimal results, with appropriate intervals between treatments to allow the skin to heal. The number of sessions required can vary depending on individual skin concerns and desired outcomes.

Microneedling can help address various skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin texture, enlarged pores, and dull skin. It promotes collagen and elastin production, leading to improved skin texture, tone, and overall appearance.
Microneedling is generally safe and suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin. However, individuals with certain skin conditions, such as active acne, eczema, rosacea, or open wounds, may not be suitable candidates for the procedure. It is important to consult with a skincare professional or dermatologist to assess your skin’s suitability and any potential contraindications.
Microneedling is typically well-tolerated, and discomfort during the procedure is generally mild. Prior to the treatment, a topical numbing cream may be applied to minimize any potential discomfort. Some individuals may experience a sensation similar to light scratching or tingling during the procedure.
30 min for numbing and 30 min for treatment.

Typically, 3-4 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart is recommended for optimal results. However, this can vary based on the severity of the skin concern and individual response
